We finally got awarded the contract for the new playground facilities

8 weeks ago, my partner and I put in a bid to build the new playground facilities.

The playground facilities include 6 bathrooms and two buildings on the property.

The buildings need to be erected from scratch. We will have to start from the ground up. I bid on the job as close as I could so my partner and I would have a chance at getting the job. We got awarded the contract for the new playground facilities last week. I started ordering all of the items that I needed for the job. I knew it was going to be important to get all of the rebar and rebar products that I needed before the job actually started. I ordered 24-in and 48-in rebar rods as well as several different sizes of double loop wire ties. I decided to go with a galvanized tie wire for the project. The galvanized tie wire has more durability and flexibility then some of the other materials. I spent several thousands of dollars on all of the rebar tie wire and wire tie supplies. Unfortunately, I haven’t heard anything from the county about the playground since we were awarded the job last week. I sent several emails to the county commissioner to get more information, but I was told to wait until the end of the month for more information. I honestly thought we would be starting with the project by the end of the month. I probably should have waited to order all of the rebar tie wire and wire tie supplies.
