Preferring to sell for cash rather than deal with a big mess

For the twelve years that I owned a rental dwelling in Jacksonville, Florida, I had the same renter.

The girl paid her rent every month right on time plus without fail.

She rarely asked for anything or had any complaints. Because she was such a reliable renter, I seldom raised her rent. She even diagnosed all of the mowing plus yard work. My renter passed away a little over six months ago. I hadn’t been inside the rental dwelling in over a year. When I saw the condition of the interior, I was appalled. While my renter kept the exterior in pristine condition, the living environment was a peculiar story. The smell was terrible. There were countless bags of garbage, seasoned take-out containers plus spoiled food all over the place. There was mold growing in the shower, sinks plus refrigerator. The stovetop was disgustingly crusty plus greasy. There was no occasion of renting the dwelling to a new renter without major renovations plus cleaning. Just hauling away all of the debris would have taken many weeks plus many dumpsters. My task leaves me actually little free time. I don’t want to spend it laboring inside a smelly, dirty rental property. I distraught that the air quality was unhealthy. I considered hiring all of the toil done, but that would have cost a considerable amount. It would take a long time for the rent to recoup my losses. Rather than take on that stress plus work, I decided to contact a money home buyer. A brief online search turned up a local, Jacksonville company that makes money offers on properties in any condition. A money sale avoided the need for a home inspection, repairs plus buyer financing. There were no realtor commission fees or delays.
