She said the house was priceless and asked who the potential buyer was
I was just getting out of my car and getting a bag of groceries out of the car when a woman parked behind me in my driveway. She got out of her car and offered to help me carry the groceries into the car. She handed me her business card and said she was a new realtor and would love to sell my house for me. I hadn’t been planning on selling my house. She took the other bag of groceries from the car and followed me up the walkway. She kept talking about how lovely my house was and how it must be even nicer inside. I loved my house, and my husband and I had spent a lot of money remodelling it to be what we wanted. When she walked in the door, her jaw dropped open and she set the groceries on the marble sink counter. She told me she could sell my house without cleaning it and kept looking around. She said she didn’t know how to price the house and would love to bring another realtor with her to look at the house. An hour later, I had a second realtor in my home. She said the house was priceless and asked who the potential buyer was. I told them my house wasn’t for sale until the second realtor told me what she could get for the house. I told her I would talk to my husband, but she would need to have a buyer before we said yes. A month later, we sold our house without cleaning it, bought a house and turned it into a dream home, and put cash into the bank.
