My construction crew has been working on this big job at an apartment complex for the past month and we are just now getting to the point where we are ready to start pouring some concrete.
We have been doing a ton of prep work around here, and we thought that we were never going to get to the point where we were actually going to get started on pouring the foundations and the pools! We have a ton of concrete work around here to do over the next month, and it has been really hard to get to this point.
It seems like we have been having one set back after another. Anyway, it’s finally time to get started on the concrete work, and we are trying to make sure that we are prepared for anything that might come up. Since we have so many different projects going on at this place at the same time, we decided that we were going to be prepared with all of the rebar wire ties that we might end up needing. We did not want to get stuck in the middle of a project and then find that we did not have the right size of rebar wire ties that we needed at the moment. Two years ago when the country was basically on a hiatus from everything and no one was doing anything but staying at home, it was a rough time for us. My family and I own a construction company and we were trying to keep things up and running as best as we could but it was a very difficult time to be in the construction business. Finally, once things started running like normal again, we were able to get most of our supplies in. Since the double loop rebar ties that we use are American made wire ties, we were able to get them quicker than if they had been shipped in from somewhere else.

When you work in a huge warehouse the way that I do, you end up needing fastening mechanisms quite a bit more often than you might think.
You’re always needing them for something or another and a lot of the time, it seems like you can’t find one when you need one. However, our supervisor finally decided that he was going to start ordering some American made black annealed double loop wire ties so that we would always have some on hand when we needed them. I thought that it was a great idea on his part because when you’re in a warehouse the size of ours, someone is always asking for double loop ties. He ended up purchasing them in bags of 2000, from a company that uses only certified domestic items. That’s always been really important to the owners of the warehouse where I work and I’m glad that they care whether or not their supplies are American made or not. Anyway, the supervisor ordered a whole lot of 16 gauge black annealed double loop wire ties and we have been using them for all kinds of things ever since. It’s nice to have them around because you never know when you are going to need some kind of fastener. The 16 gauge double loop wire ties are better than the other sizes and everyone loves knowing that we have them at our disposal on the shelf whenever we need them. It saves us a whole lot of time whenever we are looking for something! The warehouse is huge, so you don’t want to have to make an extra trip across the building if you don’t have to.

We all get along really well and we run a really good crew. Most of the time, work is fairly stress free and I really enjoy my job. Over the years, things have changed a lot around the office which is where I spend most of my time. I handle all of the ordering and the materials that we get in for our construction sites. It’s a tough job sometimes, but Ilike a challenge and so it’s something that I enjoy doing on a regular basis. Years ago, we used a lot of imported materials from other countries. I never really liked the fact that we were using materials that did not come from our own country, but at that point, there was nothing that I could do about it. Then some legislation changed and now we are required to use more materials that are certified domestic. I’m actually happy about that fact, because now I can order a lot of things that are made in our own country that I could not order otherwise. One of the things that we use a lot of on our construction sites are 18 gauge double loop wire ties. I’m happy to be able to order these from an American company now. We use a whole lot of these American made double loop wire ties that are certified domestic and we get great service from the company that we use now. It’s so much better than having to have them shipped in from overseas.
