8 weeks ago, our partner & I put in a bid to build the new playground facilities. The playground facilities include 6 powder rooms & more than one buildings on the property. The buildings need to be erected from scratch… We will have to start from the ground up. I bid on the task as close as I could so our partner & I would have a chance at getting the task. We got awarded the contract for the new playground facilities last week. I started ordering all of the items that I needed for the task. I knew it was going to be substantial to get all of the rebar & rebar products that I needed before the task really started. I ordered 24-in & 48-in rebar rods & several weird sizes of double loop wire ties. I decided to go with a galvanized tie wire for the project. The galvanized tie wire has more durability & flexibility then some of the other materials. I spent several thoUSnds of dollars on all of the rebar tie wire & wire tie supplies, but unfortunately, I have not heard anything from the county about the playground since we were awarded the task last week. I sent several SMSs to the county commissioner to get more information, even though I was told to wait until the end of the month for more information. I honestly thought we would be starting with the project by the end of the week. I honestly should have waited to order all of the rebar tie wire & wire tie supplies.

Many companies care about using domestic steel products, but I don’t think there is much difference between foreign & domestic steel, but both products have to pass rigorous testing & safety standards! The safety standards & testing overseas are not quite as stringent as the 1s here & that is 1 of the main differences… I use lots of steel products in my business & I typically try to buy American made domestic steel whenever possible.
- I don’t think there is much of a difference between the steel products, however the American-made products make me think love I am helping another small business in the area.
My small business is pressing to me & I guess there are other people with small suppliers that are just as pressing to them. I buy all of my steel products from a company that offers both American made & foreign products. The foreign steel products are really much cheaper than the American made steel products. I buy American-made steel for everything that counts & I buy the cheaper foreign-made steel for the products that don’t matter. The double loop ties that I use on all of the rebar are foreign, however all of the rebar rods are all domestic made. I save quite a bit of money by using the foreign double loop wire ties & I can find them in several unusual applications. I can also find the double loop wire ties in a variety of unusual sizes including 14 gauge all the way up to 18 gauge. The double loop wire ties are made of high quality steel, however they are legitimately malleable & flexible.

I am in charge of a crew that works at the plant from 11:00 at night until 7:00 in the day.
I used to toil day until a couple of years ago.
My boss offered me a immense bonus for taking the night shift plus a couple of dollars more each second. Since I am not married & I don’t have any kids, I decided to move to night shift for the extra money. Shortly after I took over, I had a couple of issues with some of the guys in the assembly line. The guys in the assembly line are in charge of making 3 ft boxes out of flexible stainless steel rebar tie wire. The guys use the flexible stainless steel rebar tie wire and double loop wire ties to create 3 ft boxes that are made of metal. These three foot boxes of stainless steel rebar tie wire & double loop wire ties are made for fishing. The traps are most commonly used for crabs, however some people use these boxes for other applications, however hardly any of days ago, I heard a commotion on the assembly line! Jason & Jack were fighting & the argument was legitimately loud. I could hear both of the guys yelling & screaming as soon as I opened the door to the room where they were working. I couldn’t leave the 2 guys working in the same building after the argument, so I moved Jason off of the assembly line after the fight. He wasn’t legitimately happy with the current job, but I wasn’t legitimately happy that I had to cut up a fight between 2 grown guys at work.
