Selling home for money avoids making repairs

When I first listed my home for sale, I had no idea of the difficulties involved.

The realtor made it sound like I’d be moving out within a matter of nights. She seemed actually confident that I’d get the asking price without any troubles at all. However, she commanded that I spruce up the dwelling with some yard toil plus paint. She convinced me to buy plants plus mulch, trim the shrubs plus install new steps on the porch. I painted the exterior of the dwelling plus many of the rooms inside. I vigorously cleaned, picked up plus organized for the sake of photos of the house. I then needed to vacate the home many times to accommodate viewings. I’d come home to footprints across the floor. It was many months before I finally acquired an offer. The offer relied on passing a home inspection. The home inspection was a nightmare. I was told that I needed to replace a perfectly reliable roof, update the electrical plugs, buy a new a/c plus have the air duct cleaned. The list of repairs was long plus luxurious. I realized that if I offered into the demands, it would cost me a small fortune. Plus, I’d need to take the time to call, hire plus supervise professional workmen. I’d be living with the upheaval plus mess. After all that, there was no guarantee the sale would go through. I became so nervous with the ordeal that I turned to a money home buyer. I contacted a local Jacksonville company that is family-owned. I was able to fill out an online contact form at my convenience. Once I submitted the inquiry, I had a money offer in less than twenty-four hours. Because the money offer was for the dwelling in as-is condition, it was adequate. I avoided all of those repairs.
